EAST JAVA ITINERARY OVERVIEW
Here is an overviews of what we’ll doing as we depart from Bali and make our way to East Java to start our adventure!
- Day 1 : Travel to Malang
- Day 2 : Tumpak Sewu waterfall & Travel to Probolinggo
- Day 3: Sunrise at Mt Bromo (active volcano) & Madakaripura waterfall
- Day 4: Mt Ijen, & Return back to Bali
DAY 1 : Travel to Malang
Pick up points :
06.00 Am – CANGGU
Location : Central Park, Canggu
06.45 Am – SEMINYAK
Location : Starbuck sunset road
07.00 Am – KUTA
Location : Monument Bom Bali
08.30 Am – UBUD
Location : Bintang Supermarket
19.00-20.00 Pm : Malang (in your hostel/homestay)
Our driver will pick you up from one of the above locations, with our air – conditioner passenger van (car depending on how many people)
- Once we have picked up everyone, we’ll drive 4-5 hours to Gilimanuk port where we’ll drive aboard ferry over to Banyuwangi Jawa island. Crossing takes 1 hour
- Lunch shortly after deboarding the Ferry (in Banyuwangi).
- Continue drive to Malang to our homestay (takes 8-9hours to arrive in our homestay). We’ll arrive in our homestay around 21.00/22.00 PM.
- Dinner will be in Batu Night market (if Everyone agreed and have a time)
DAY 2 : Tumpak sewu Waterfall & Travel to Probolinggo
- 07.00 am – Breakfast & prepare for check Out
- 07.30 am – Depart to Jodipan village
- 08.30 am-Depart to tumpak sewu waterfall
this drive to tumpak sewu waterfall will takes around 2 hours
- 11.30 am – Arrived at Tumpak sewu waterfall.
a short hike takes 10-15 minutes walk from parking area to see the waterfall from the top(Panorama). and to go down takes another 30-45 minutes to the waterfall its self. you have 3 hours to explore the waterfall & swimm at The cave. We’ll also have local Guide to take You around)
- 14.00 pm – Lunch & free time
- 15.00 pm – Drive to Probolinggofor the next Homestay
(Takes 4 hours to get There)
- 20.00pm – Arrived at The Homestay & Dinner
(Dinner will stop on the way to the homestay)
- 21.00pm : Rest & Free time
(Please rest as much as You have because We’ll start The trip at 03.00)
FUN FACT OF TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL
Tumpak sewu mean 1000 waterfall in Javanese langguange. for this waterfall they have 2 name wiith different entrance area and view point. its call tumpak sewu and coban sewu. the one we stop is tumpak sewu because they have better view point and easer to trekking down to the waterfall its self. in this area aswell they have other place we can visit call GOA TETES (Drip Cave) all the way to this area we’ll getting wet because we have to go thought the waterfall.
DAY 3 : Sunrise at Mt Bromo (active volcano) & Madakaripura waterfall
IMPORTHAN NOTICE :
- Day 3we start with wake up cal at MIDNIGHT
- Please make sure you’re rested in advance, if needed. After you’re picked up, there may not be time for a full night’s sleep before we do Bromo jeep tour at least 09.00 am. and you will go to the waterfall afterward
- Every weekend more than 1,000 Jeeps drive this tour.
Some viewing times may be limited to avoid traffic.
- 03:30 am – Pick Up
Jeep driver will pick you up at the homestay to leave for the Sunrise point. From the homestay to sunrise point takes 45 minutes to 1 hour, we leave early to avoid as much traffic as possible.
- 05:00 am – Sunrise Time!
Watch the sun rise up from behind the volcano in Penanjakan. You will have 30 minutes to watch the sunrise before we continue on to the crater.
- 06:00 am – Walk Back to Jeep
…to continue our trip to Bromo Crater. What should be a short drive, can take up to 1+ Hour if we get stuck in traffic.
- 06:30 am – Arrive at Mt. Bromo
You will have 90 minutes to go up, explore & return to the Jeeps. Walking to the top rim can take up to 30 minutes.
- 08:00 am – DRIVER BACT TO THE HOMESTAY
Your driver will drive you back to the homestay for brakfast and get rady for check out.
- 10:30 pm – Check out & Drive to Madakaripura waterfall
- 11:30 pm – Arrive at Madakaripura Waterfall
in this waterfall you have to walk more less 1 hour to get to the waterfall from the parking lot. they might offer you GOJEK for 30K/Person return, you can take it but its not included in the tour. the walk to the waterfall is versy east. you have 3 hours to spend in this waterfall.
- 15.30 pm- Drive to Bondowosofor the last Homestay
(Lunch stop on The way) takes 5 hours to get to the last homestay from probolinggo
- 19.00 pm – Arrive at Salsabila Homestay Bondowoso
(Dinner will be stop before arrive at the homestay)
- FREE TIME
Please rest when you arrived at the homestay because we going to start he trip early morning for Mt ijen. Thank you
DAY 4 : Mt Ijen & back to Bali
IMPORTANT Notes:
Mt. Ijen – It will be VERY Cold this early in the morning!
But once we start trekking you will be shedding layers with this intense hike and getting very warm after sunrise.
- Midnight – 11:30 am – Wake Up!
Day 4 starts EARLY with a wake-up call at Midnight – 01:45 am.
Please make sure you were rested in advance if needed (as stated above).
- 02:00 am – Depart hotel to Mt. Ijen
- 03:45 am – Arrive at Ijen.
Here we’ll provide snack, coffee & tea before trekking
This is where you will meet our local trekking guide. (Masks and Headlamps will be provided for you.)
- 04:00 am – Start the trekking
- 05.00 am – Sunrise! Enjoy beautiful color of sunrise with mountain view and claud
- 07:00 am – (1 – 1.5 hour) Return Trek back down to Paltuding (Ijen parking lot).
- 08:30 am – Breakfast, ( Ijen cafe – provided )
- 10:00 am – Drive back to Bali
( takes around 7 hours until arrived in first stop in Bali)
- 17:00 pm – Arrived In Bali
(start dropping every passenger to their hotline Bali!)
