Begin your 4-day, 3-night East Java adventure from Bali, crossing from the island of the gods into a land of volcanoes, waterfalls, and breathtaking landscapes.
Discover the magical Ijen Crater, where turquoise volcanic scenery and the famous blue flames create an unforgettable experience. Continue to the spectacular Tumpak Sewu and Kapas Biru Waterfalls, hidden among lush tropical forests and dramatic cliffs.
The journey reaches its highlight at Mount Bromo, where an early-morning jeep adventure takes you across the Sea of Sand to witness a spectacular sunrise over the volcanoes before exploring the Bromo crater.
From Bali to Ijen, the waterfalls of Lumajang, and the volcanic landscapes of Bromo, this journey is designed for travelers who want to experience the wild and spectacular beauty of East Java in one unforgettable adventure.
4 Days 3 Nights Java Adventure start Bali
# Day 1 — Bali to Bromo Area
Your East Java adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Bali around 07.00-08.30 AM, heading west toward Gilimanuk. Enjoy the scenic drive through Bali before crossing the Bali Strait by ferry to Java.
After arriving in Java, stop for a local lunch and enjoy your first taste of Javanese cuisine. The journey then continues through the beautiful countryside and mountain landscapes of East Java.
As the day unfolds, settle into the scenic drive toward the Bromo area. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation, relax, and prepare for the exciting Bromo sunrise adventure the following morning.
# Day 2 — Bromo Sunrise & Madakaripura Waterfall
Your day begins before dawn with a 02:00 AM wake-up call, followed by a thrilling 4WD jeep ride into the Bromo landscape. Arrive at the sunrise viewpoint and enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea while waiting for the first light of day.
As the sky slowly brightens, watch the sunrise over Mount Bromo and the surrounding volcanoes, creating a spectacular view across the mountains. After sunrise, continue by jeep toward Bromo Crater, crossing the vast Sea of Sand before exploring the crater rim.
After completing the Bromo adventure, return to your hotel for breakfast, a refreshing shower, and check-out.
The journey then continues to Madakaripura Waterfall, one of East Java’s highest and most impressive waterfalls. Walk through the lush surroundings and towering cliffs to discover this hidden natural wonder, where water cascades dramatically into the canyon.
After enjoying Madakaripura, continue the scenic drive toward the Tumpak Sewu area, where you’ll settle in for the night and prepare for the next day’s waterfall adventure.
# Day 3 — Tumpak Sewu & Kapas Biru Waterfalls
Your waterfall adventure begins with a trek into the spectacular landscape of Tumpak Sewu. Surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic cliffs, discover the breathtaking waterfall from the panoramic viewpoint before continuing the trek toward Goa Tetes, a beautiful natural cave decorated with flowing water and rocky formations.
Along the way, enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural swimming pool, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the forest.
After the adventure, return to the hotel for breakfast, a refreshing shower, and check-out.
The journey then continues with a stop at the Kapas Biru panorama, where you can admire the waterfall cascading through the lush valley from above and capture some memorable photos.
From Kapas Biru, continue the scenic drive toward the Ijen area, where you’ll settle in for the night and prepare for the final adventure at Ijen Crater.
# Day 4 — Ijen Blue Fire, Sunrise & Return to Bali
Your final adventure begins with a 00:30 AM wake-up call, followed by a short coffee break to warm up and prepare for the trek. Before setting off, your guide will provide a safety briefing and explain the trekking route and volcanic conditions.
The trek to Ijen Crater takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once at the crater area, descend toward the blue fire viewpoint. If conditions are safe and access is permitted, witness the fascinating blue flames of Ijen, a rare natural phenomenon.
Afterwards, make your way back toward the viewpoint and enjoy the spectacular sunrise over Ijen, revealing the turquoise crater lake and surrounding volcanic mountains.
Continue trekking back to Paltuding, where your driver will be waiting. Return to the hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast before checking out.
Your journey then continues toward Ketapang Port, where you’ll board the ferry across the Bali Strait. Enjoy the scenic crossing as you make your way back to Bali.
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation, marking the end of your 4-day East Java adventure from Bali.

Pickup Info
Pickup available from Bali at 06.00 WIB
Guests are required to wait at the hotel lobby or designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure time. Drop-off service is available in Malang or Surabaya Or Bali area after the trip.

Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
- 1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by TWD. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking & Payment
- 2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by TWD.
- 2.2 A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- 2.3 The balance must be paid no later than 1 day before the departure date.
- 2.4 Payments can be made by cash, Revolut, Wise transfer and bank transfer.
3. Prices & Surcharges
- 3.1 All prices are quoted in (Rupiah) and are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
- 3.2 Any additional costs incurred during the trip (extra services, personal expenses) are the responsibility of the client.
- 3.3 Share tour: Final price is regarding on how many people join a tour on that date.
4. Accomodation, Transport & Meals
- 4.1 Accommodation during the journey is included in the package. However the type and facilities of accommodation may vary depending on availability.
- 4.2 Private tour with hotel, TWD have right to put you on one of the hotel choice if the one you choose is fully booked.
- 4.3 Private tour with hotel, Breakfast and lunch is included but not dinner.
- 4.4 Share tour, 7 meals is included. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the homestay and lunch at local warung. (Chicken, noodles, rice, vegetables and fruits).
- 4.5 Any allergies of food please inform our staff during the tour, so we can prepare your meals regarding your need.
- 4.6 Transportation during the journey will be provided, but schedules and vehicle types may vary depending on local conditions and situations.
- 4.7 Start from 2-4 people will use a car with english speaking driver and local guide every destination. From 5-6 people will go with Hiace with english speaking driver and local guide every destination. From 7 to more people will go with Hiace and tour guide for the whole tour.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- 5.1 Cancellations by the client must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges: Less than 3 days before departure: 30% of the total cost. On departure day: refund should be agreed on TWD Management.
- 5.2 If (TWD) cancels the trip for any reason, a full refund will be provided, or an alternative arrangement will be offered.
- 5.3 Refunds will be processed within 3 days of cancellation notice.
6. Travel Insurance
- 6.1 Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients to cover unforeseen events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
- 6.2 TWD is not responsible for any costs incurred due to the lack of insurance coverage.
7. Passports & Visas
- 7.1 It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have a valid passport and any required visas for the trip.
- 7.2 TWD is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or missing travel documentation.
- 7.3 Ijen health certificate requires your valid passport.
8. Health & Safety
- 8.1 Clients must inform TWD of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
- 8.2 Clients are responsible for their own health and safety during the trip and must adhere to local laws and regulations.
9. Complaints
- 9.1 Any complaints must be reported to (TWD) as soon as possible to allow the opportunity to resolve the issue.
- 9.2 If the issue is not resolved to the client's satisfaction, a formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 3 days of the end of the trip.
10. Amendments
- 10.1 (TWD) reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all bookings made after the posting date.
